South Park - The F Word (S13 - E12)

The F Word
SPOILER!

On this episode of South Park we get to see the boys push forward a revolution in the world of North American slang termZ; At the same time a local motorcycle gang falls victim to the cultural movement at hand...

Initially the bikers are shown disrupting peoples day; An extremely 'relaxing day' that seems to be quite serene indeed. The noize pollution depicted here is very accurate in regard to a real group of loud bikers... there are some loud rails rollin' on these strips of coloraDo.

We see the bikers ridiculous behavior outlined as the episode carries on; Also, later having their actions defined in somewhat of a 'raw' manner by monsieur' Eric Cartman. Eric really chisels away at the bikers with the word 'fag', this is the first time we get to see the word used in a new context. He lights them up with a verbal shit storm until they have an overwhelming appetite for approval (they need redemption to feel secure).

After the gang had been confronted by Eric; they reconvene in the desert and contemplate their authenticity as bikers for being labeled fags. After the meeting of authenticity the bikers strike a claim to their status by being LOUDER THAN EVER.

Cartman, again ROASTS the bikers, with hot loafers to the shitter holsters. The boys are taken to court over the newly defined word that their town has supported them with. While in court, they explain the new-wave fag definition.

The episode then takes course for a wonderful little ending that draws some great conclusions about the word 'fag'. Also bringing to light the ridiculous role bikers play. There is a scene where Butters explains the 'pride' behind being a Harley rider. But, the boys don't give a shit; Who should?

They officially re-define the word fag. 'they' do not use it literally to blanket all the douche' bags on the planet, only a minority of douche; well, with possibility of being a majority of douche (the bikers). My apologies, the statistics aren't in front of me.

I believe the re-definition of 'fag' as being quite accurate with my experience of today's 'progressive world'; But, only when applied indirectly to the bikers and more directly at the psychological shortcomings of the accused 'fags'; which then translates into many other 'types' of fags.

Funniest line: When the bikers are storming the town with their final act Randy Marsh states the obvious by saying "Look out, It's a bunch of pissed off fagots".
